Still ("we", "us") is an Android app that adds a short pause before apps you choose to use less. This policy explains what stays on your phone, what we collect, and the choices you have.

Still is published on Google Play as Still (application ID doomscroll.blockapp.blockreels).

What Still does

You pick the apps you want to pause. When you open one of them, Still shows a short breathing pause so you can open the app on purpose or leave it. A free version covers one app with fixed timing. Still Pro is a one-time purchase that unlocks more apps and custom timing.

There is no Still account. We do not ask for your name, email address, phone number, or contacts.

Information that stays on your phone

The following is stored in the app's private storage on your device. Android backup of this data is turned off. We do not upload it.

Delete my stats (Settings → Your data) removes your progress from this phone. It does not remove which apps you have chosen to pause, your timing settings, or a Still Pro purchase.

Uninstalling Still deletes the app's local data.

Accessibility permission

Still uses Android's Accessibility permission for one purpose: to notice when an app you chose comes to the foreground, so it can show the pause.

The service listens only for window changes. It is not allowed to read window content. Still does not read your messages, passwords, photos, notifications, or anything else on the screen. The name of the app in the foreground is used on the device to decide whether to pause. Screen contents are not collected and are not sent off the phone.
